Step 4 To be stenilized with high heat (135ºC) & under pressure.	Step 5 Handpieces, cleaning tips and syringe tips are also detached & heat sterilized between each patient...	Step 6 To ensure safety of our patients

I.V. Sedation and General Anesthetic Safety

In Ontario, special permits must be obtained from the Royal College of Dental Surgeon before General Anesthetics and I.V. Sedation can be provided in a dental office. The granting of a permit by the Royal College is subjected to careful assessment of the doctors' training as well as an on site inspection of our office to ensure our set up and equipment as well as staff qualification meet or exceed the stringent criteria set forth by the Royal College.

Our skilled and experience staff includes medical anesthesiologist, dentists specially trained in I.V. Sedation, registered nurse as well as Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certified personnel. All these together with advance anaesthetic monitoring equipment, make I.V. Sedation extremely safe.

Whether it is a simple sedation or a General Anesthetic, a detail medical history is always taken and every patient's vital signs are monitored continuously throughout the procedures with anesthetic monitors.

Waterline Safety

All of our dental chairs are equipped with self contained water system which are used for disinfecting the waterline on a regular basis to reduce biofilm build up.
